Saving and loading designs

A design is the full state of what you've built in the configurator: the room shape, every placed cabinet, its hinge/finish, and the floor/countertop materials.

Saving

Save gives the design a name and stores the current state. Saving again against the same design overwrites its saved state — there's no separate "save as new version" step.

Loading

The configurator can list your saved designs by name and load one back in, fully hydrating the scene from the stored state.

Deleting

A saved design can be deleted from the list. This only removes the design — it doesn't affect any CNC job that was already converted from it.

Validation

Saving validates the design first. If something's wrong, the save is rejected with a message and the specific field(s) at fault — fix those and save again.

Next

When a design is ready, convert it to a CNC job.
